Frequently Asked Questions

We realize you might have questions about artificial turf, so here are the questions we hear the most from our customers.

Periodical maintenance will be required to ensure that the turf stays healthy as well as looks its best. We recommend periodical brushing to raise the blades, refresh in the infill, and if you have pets, treat it with an enzyme spray to neutralize any odor that might appear. These are all things you can do on your own, or we offer maintenance services where we can take care of this for you.

With proper maintenance, artificial turf is designed to last for 20 years. The manufacturer will warranty the turf for up to 15 years.

Everything in Texas gets hot, but modern turf is designed to resist heat. We like to say it won't get any hotter than your back deck or the concrete, at most. We also recommend keeping your irrigation system or have a hose handy nearby if you're truly concerned about those dreaded July and August days when you can fry an egg outside.

With proper infill and maintenance, you shouldn't have an issue. We have two 50-pound doodles who like to use the restroom in a very small part of our turf and smell has not been a concern for us. There are a variety of affordable enzyme sprays that you can attach to your hose and quickly spray your turf down to kill off any odor.

First we start by removing all your sod as well as up to 5 inches of dirt. Then we bring in a compactable base and reshape your space with a focus on a flat, level surface that moves water away. We then cut and lay the artificial turf, and we finish by laying a sand or silica infill to give the artificial turf body and height.

The price can vary depending on the complexity of the application and the turf selected. Please use the Contact Us form to get quote today.
